Residential roofing

Every material that works in the Pacific Northwest

Portland's wet winters and occasional ice demand roofing systems that shed water reliably for decades. We install architectural and 3-tab asphalt shingles, standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal, cedar shake, and slate. We'll walk you through the trade-offs in cost, longevity, and maintenance — then let you decide. Manufacturer material warranties pass through to you at no markup. Our workmanship warranty is 50 years and fully transferable to the next owner.

Commercial flat roofs

Flat-roof systems done right the first time

We install and replace TPO, EPDM, and PVC membrane systems for commercial buildings, retail spaces, multi-family properties, and HOAs across the Portland metro and Vancouver, WA. Flat roofs fail at the seams and penetrations — that's where we focus our quality checks. Every installation is documented with photos before, during, and after. Our 50-year transferable workmanship warranty applies to commercial work as well.

Common questions

What homeowners ask us most

  • Do you subcontract any of the work?

No. The crew that shows up on day one is the crew that finishes the job. We don't use subcontractors or labor brokers. That's how we stand behind a 50-year workmanship warranty — we know exactly who did the work.

  • How does your fixed-price estimate work?

We inspect the roof, measure everything, and give you a written estimate. That number is what you pay. If we find something unexpected once we're up there — rotted decking, for example — we'll show you the problem and give you a change-order price before we proceed. No surprise invoices at the end.

  • What areas do you serve?

We work throughout the Portland metro: Portland, Beaverton, Lake Oswego, and Tigard in Oregon, plus Vancouver, WA, and Hood River, OR. Not sure if you're in our service area? Call (503) 555-0123 and we'll let you know.

  • Can you help with an insurance claim after storm damage?

Yes. We'll inspect the roof, document the damage with photos, and give you a written report you can submit to your insurer. We can also coordinate directly with your adjuster. If the damage is minor and a repair is the smarter move, that's what we'll recommend — we don't push homeowners into claims they don't need.

  • How long does a typical residential roof replacement take?

Most single-family homes take one to two days from tear-off to clean-up. Larger homes, complex roof lines, or specialty materials like slate or metal can run three to four days. We'll give you a realistic timeline in your estimate and keep you updated if anything changes.

  • What does the 50-year transferable warranty actually cover?

It covers our workmanship — meaning any leak or failure that results from how the roof was installed, not from storm damage or normal wear. It's transferable to the next owner, which can be a real selling point when you list the home. The manufacturer's material warranty (which varies by product) is separate and also passes through to you.
